RainstormA Poem by nostalgicwriterIs there anything better than a rainstorm? A rain just cool enough for a jacket; but not cool enough to shiver.Drops of a silent angels tears Stream down the cover o’er you A sound gentle, yet loud Softly speaks the words of love A beauty with no imperfections True in its finest form Glowing in streetlights at dusk A marvelous rainstorm
Take to the street to watch Blindly as your eyes stay closed And with a slow, cool breeze The world winds down to a stop
With one deep breath And a smile only love could bring Venture back inside, now Calm, enlightened, and at peace © 2015 nostalgicwriter |
