In Rememberance

In Rememberance

A Poem by Holy Gma
"

A poem about the Last Supper which is the original of Holy Communion

"

On the day I was brutally murdered,
I sat with my twelve men and broke bread.
All twelve were relaxed and happy;
Still refusing to see what lie ahead.
I taught them how to remember me,
for in the near future I would be gone.
And I explained again, very clearly,
just why they could not come along.
I gave them bread to stand as my body,
asked that they drink wine to stand as my blood.
I Taught them when they break bread in this way
it symbolized their undying love.
I promised them that in the future,
if their faith or hope ever strayed,
all they need would be restored to them
if they break bread together this way.
So, Never be afraid to take communion;
never fear you might be unpure;
for my flesh, and blood brings health to your body
and for all dis-ease it provides a cure.
