Last minutes of her journey

Last minutes of her journey

A Poem by Louisa Chan

A fragile purple petal

Whirling passively in the wind

Landed softly on my terrace

Lonesome as she seemed

I helped her up and rested

Her among the thriving shrubs

In open arms of her family

The last minutes of her journey

Beautifully crafted. I like the alliteration and assonance you chose to use.
