My Angel

The skies darken, the lighting strikes.

I hear the thunder in the distance,

A storm is coming.

There is no escape.

The wind blows, I hear the battle cry

it refuses to back down.

It will fight to the end.

I close my eyes praying it's all a dream,

I inhale, I see your light shining through the darkness.

I open my eyes, exhale .

The storm rages forward, 

i can feel it's breath on my face.

I close my eyes exhale and I can feel your touch,

it awakens my soul. You give me the strength 

to fight this battle.

I inhale and listen to your beating heart , I take a 

step forward and push.

I exhale blowing the storm into eternity forever lost.

I feel your warmth on my lips , I see you  and come to realize your my angel
