Who? What? When? Why? If?

Who? What? When? Why? If?

A Poem by Ls

A library suffocated with books.

Trillions of leafy pages revealing the deep, dark secrets

Of the human soul. The cluttered sheets clog

Every pore, overwhelming the delicate balance of

Knowledge. So much we can never expect

To know.

Our ignorance bites away at me,

Consumes me,

Engulfs me.

The world is so intricate, there are so many threads to

This exquisite masterpiece. Some will never

Be unwoven. Isn’t this a terrifying thought?

That there will always be things we can’t explain,

However hard we try? Crop circles, the underwater

World, alternate universes. The list is endless.

So many words,

So little time,

I sit and wonder.
