EverythingA Poem by Alma W. ReisI am not one to worry about small questions. The world is at my fingertips and omniscience exists. I am not one to ask, who is right or wrong. I am not one to ask, which is better or worse. I know lots of little things, and they are all matter. The big I can’t touch, however, worries me at night. I am part of everything else, including myself. Many things I was, am and will eventually become, packed into something everyone calls “me”. All the things I have, posses and once made. Things I have seen, learnt and discovered, tossed together into a complex being of existence. Most of everything else, myself included is part of something more, something bigger. Something I can’t have, posses or make. Nothing I can see, learn nor discover. Something I can barely describe on my own. Countless of them have whispered “something is yet to be uncovered”. I just hope, one day, for humanity's sake Everything will be bigger than “me”, “myself” and everyone else. © 2014 Alma W. ReisFeatured Review
