lights of heaven

I wrote this p for my son

Close your eyes my child, and breathe in. Deep and slow.
As you listen to the stillness, you will see my face aglow.
When you are feeling utterly spent, frustrated or alone, look up to the lights of heaven, and find more comfort than you have ever known.
My voice is on the summer breeze, and in fall's crisp cool air.
Glance at the beauty of the forest in spring. Look and I'll be there.
When you swirl in the snows of winter, or feel the ground crunch underfoot.
Stop for a brief moment my child, the lights of heaven wait for you to look.
See me in streams and the mountains, the road less traveled by.
Please know that i am here for you, and the stars twinkle in a dark still midnight sky.
