Crowds

Crowds

A Poem by ☠☠☠☠☠

I'm in a crowd
I don't know anyone
i stand awkwardly
trying to be noticed
no one notices me
until i feel eyes on me
i look around
and see a guy
he looks into
my soul
it seems
his hands
are on a girl's hips
the girl is looking
away from him
the song ends
and he leaves her
and she leaves him
I see him
walking over
to dance with me
the song is slow
.....again
I stand
in the middle
of the floor
not doing anything
he walks over
and stands
right in front of me
I shyly
look up
to see him
gazing at me
I blush
and turn
but his hand
lands on my shoulder
I turn
to feel him
pulling me
closer
right up
to his body
my heart throbs
just being
near a guy
now my heart
is hurting
being this
close to a guy
I look up to his face
he looks down
at mine
his eyes
are chocolate brown
they look
deep in me
understanding
all my fears
I see
deep in him
understanding
all his fears
his hand
caresses my cheek
leaning his head down
I stretch my head
to be closer
his hand inches
me a little
his lips
reach mine
so softly
so carelessly
so fantastic
never had
a guy noticed me
this guy had
certainly
noticed me
it was
short and sweet
but made all
the difference
in the world
he moved away
from me for
a split second
and made
a small smile
I shyly
smiled back
I wrapped
my arms
around his neck
he wrapped
his arms
around my waist
I leaned my head
against his chest
he rested his head
on my head
and we swayed
after the song
was over
we went to
a seat
to rest
we went
over the intros
belatedly but
we did
he offered
to drive
me home
since I had
yet to call
my ride
I agreed
and held
his hand
walking to his car
reaching his
car he leaned
over and
kissed me again
this one was
just as sweet
and just
as tender
as our first
we stood there
in the middle
of the parking lot
next to his car
for what
seemed like eternity
the eternity was
just as I had hoped
with someone
who seemed to care
he let go
and opened
the door
I sat down
and leaned
my head
against the seat
breathing deep
calming my heart
he climbed in
and started the engine
we began
to learn
more about
each other
with every minute
we reached
my house
he turned off
the engine
leaned over
to kiss my cheek
but I turned
so he could kiss me
again
I pulled away
saying I had
to go
he gave
a weak smile
and sat up straight
i opened
the door
and blew him
a kiss
he blew me
one also
I walked
up to my window
and tried
to climb in
I heard
the car door shut
and felt
a helping hand
to get me through
I leaned out
to kiss him
once again
he returned
the kiss
one more time
before turning
to go
I stayed
right where
I was
to watch him
leave me
until the next time
we would meet again
