Welcome DeathA Poem by dreamer :)When death pays me a visit,
I want to be scattered into the ocean. I want my loved ones to wave goodbye. I want you to remind my family, That when they see a rainbow, They need to know that it's me. I'll be there so they can stand under my colors. I promise to the ones I love, That when I die, I will be their guardian angel. I will watch out for each one of them. And if they miss me, They can look out into the sky. I will be the star that's glistening, The moon that's glowing, The sun that's shining, The breeze that's billowing, But most importantly, I promise to be that guiding light, That directs them where to go, Which paths to take, And which to avoid. When death pays me a visit, I want everyone attending my funeral, To look out to the sea, And be overcome by thoughts of me. Thoughts of me that make them proud, That make them smile, And most importantly, Make them feel safe. Because that is my promise to them. © 2010 dreamer :)Reviews
