True Love

When i see an elderly couple,
It makes me want to cry tears of joy.
The way they look at each other,
The way they move together,
The way they hold hands,
The way they touch.

It just goes to show that no matter how old you are,
The sparks will still be there if you're in love.

The way they look at each other like,
They have been through it all together,
They spend every second loving each other,
And no matter what, they will always,
Always,
Always,
Love each other just as much as they did,
The moment they caught each others' eye.

In a world where people fall in "love" as often as they change socks...it's nice to know that real love still exists.

We all need that hope. Age has nothing to do with the equation if the love is real.

Awe this poem is cute. I agree because my grandparents are still together and have been going strong for over 40 years. And when I was visiting them they had their anniversary and my grandpa bought he roses. They were so pretty and that was a really sweet gesture. Thanks for sharing. :)

my parents have been together for 57 years and they are so tender together..they never had any one else...that's about as good as it gets..lovely touching tribute to love
