I. Valkyries
it is quiet here
the calm breeze is the only source of life...
the slain adorn the ground
the wounded are bleeding.

Have no fear
your time has come
but you are among the select few chose
to sit in the hall
and witness the wise old man with one eye
the one who sold himself for knowledge.

beautiful creatures they are
fierce and sinister as they may be
they do not wish to harm you
you prince among princes
the warrior that stole my heart.

They move in such a grace
that drives all mortal men to sin.
Yet in one look, they can slay.

Victory is yours
I can taste it on your lips.

You must go, sweet prince.
Let the Valkyries carry you to your true home

you will do great things
you will bring victory to us all
in the final battle.

But for now this is goodbye
I cannot shed any tears because
I know you will return to me
in another life--
you will be in my arms once more
and I will once again taste the victory and heaven on your lips
and I will swim in the fierce ocean of your eyes.

I watch them take you
and I can only smile.
