Life is Ours

Just a short poem about a take on life.

There is a house as normal as can be.

Beneath it's foundation,

Secrets plea.

There is a young boy whose name is unknown.

Though his life is a great,

He's alone.

There is a girl that has felt like a waste.

Her life has been nothing,

But she's graced.

Then there is me who writes

Feeling the same as you...

See the light.

Life is a special gift given to all.

Don't take it for granted.

Have a ball!

I love how empowering this is! We do have a purpose, even if we haven't seen or found it yet. It takes time to find out who we are and why we are living our lives. Our purpose could be a passion or a person, but something that lifts us up, makes us smile when we find it difficult. Great job with this, you truly captured a good theme.
