Super Hero

You fly In to wipe away all my tears

you've held my hand throught these years

You always cheer me up again

and when i fall its your hand you lend

fighting away the darknes surrounding me

all the evils, my eyes refuse to see

you've always been my big red cape

the one i use to safely escape

you tell me to let my worries fly with the wind

and after all the words i know its love you send

you've been my comfort since the age of zero

I thought this was so sweet! Especially because in general there are the poems about a guy coming in a sweeping a girl off their feet "saving them" but I thought this was really cool that you didn't go with the cliche and instead made it your mom :)
