you saw the tears well up in my eyes

you said we live in two different worlds

and then abrubtly left with no good byes

 

you tore my chest open so wide

wrenched the heart from deep within

my vulnerability i no longer hide

it was you who commited the most hideous sin

 

You wallow in your pride

as your feet heavily tread the ground

but i see it sneak out your stride

sad because of the love we never found
