Chapter 30 - Old faces, new beginnings


Once I left David's flat I made my way over to Jess's, I knocked on her door, she answered

"Hiya!" she said, cheerfully

"Hello" I replied laughing, she let me in and I made my way to the living room and I found Gareth eating his dinner "Oh, I'm sorry am I interrupting something?" I asked, Gareth put his plate down on the coffee table

"No, you're not, you're welcome anytime" he laughed, we hugged "Feels like a lifetime since I've seen you" he said as he pulled away

"Whereas it's only been a couple days" I replied "And I've got quite a lot to tell you" Jess walked in, and sits down with us "Ok, first things first, I'm adopting Harry Potter" I said Jess and Gareth stared at me 

"You are kiddding me" Jess said, I shook my head

"No, he's living with us now, and the second thing is that I'm getting married to Sirius" 

"Blimey!" Jess gasped "Congratulations Fiona" she said hugging me, Gareth hugged and kissed me on the cheek

"Thank you" I smiled

"Right our turn" Jess said "I'm pregnant" I stared at her

"You. Pregnant?" I asked not believing it, she nodded I grinned and hugged them both "Congratualtions" I said, just then my mobile started to ring, I got it out of my pocket and looked at the caller ID, and was shocked to see, a name I hadn't heard in more than 8 years, I looked at Jess "It's Kirsty" I answered "Hello?"

"Hi, Fiona?" she replied

"Yeah, Kirsty it's so great to hear off you" I said

"You too, can you do me a favour and come and meet me and Dominique at the station?" she asked

"Dominique's there? Both off you in Cardiff?" I asked, staring at Jess

"Yeah" she laughed

"Ok, be there in as soon as possible" I said, we both hung up, I stared at Jess "Well you coming or what?" I asked, she grinned and kissing her bofriend goodybye, she grabbed her keys and followed me out the flat, "We should get in touch with Alice as well she has to be there" I suggested

"Yeah," Jess agreed and we made a quick detour to Remus' flat where Alice was staying
