Chapter 27 - A new start

After breakfast I left Sirius in charge of the kids while I went round Ceri's to ask her if she wanted to be Maid of Honour. I got to her front door and knocked, only to be met by David

"Oh, hi David Ceri in?" I asked

"No she's gone shopping with her friend Kayleigh" he said, I sighed

"Fine, David we need to talk" I told him, he sighed and let me in, he shut the door and followed me into the living area

"What about?" he asked gesturing me to sit down, while he sat down next to me

"You know what" I answered "The fact is David I can't do this anymore, it's hard enough still lieing to Ceri after all these years, and yet I'm still doing it, and I'm fighting with you, which hurts Ceri, can't you see it David, everytime we're around eachother we are constantly hurting her" I explained

"I suppose you're right" he agreed "What shall we do?" he asked

"Start again, new beginnings" I told him, he smiled

"Course, ok, Hello my names David" he introduced

"Not like that you dolt, " I laughed "Whatever happened back then is history" I said, he nodded we hugged eachother tight, then let go

"What did you want Ceri for?" he asked, I looked at him 

"I was going to ask her if she would like to be my maid of honour" I said, David broke into the famous Doctor grin, 

"That's great" he siad hugging me again, I broke away and stood up

"Thanks gotta go when Ceri comes back tell her to ring me" I told him, he nodded and I said my goodbys and walked out
