Chapter 25 - Happy families

I woke up to find myself still wrapped in John's arms, I stood up and looked at my watch, 10.10pm I looked down at John who was still fast asleep, and decided not to wake him instead leaving him a note telling him whar had happened before leaving the flat and breaking into a run.

5 minutes later

I entered the flat quietly, walking into the living room I found Sirius and the kids, who were asleep curled up on the sofa watching T.V, Sirius looked up when I entered, I bit my lip as we stared at eachother, he carefully stood up and walked over to me 

"I'm not angry sweetheart, I love you" he said, I nodded and he pulled me into a hug, I hugged him back tightly, he pulled away "That's why I want you to be my wife" he said, I stared at him as he knelt down on one knee, he pulled out a small box and inside was a Blue Sapphire diamond ring, I gasped 

"It's beautiful Siri" I whispered 

"Fiona Mcnicol will you do me, Sirius Black the honour of being my wife?" he proposed 

"Of course I will you arsehole I love you" I laughed, he stood up and slid the ring onto my finger before we kissed and hugged, all of a sudden the was a bang from the fireplace, we spun around to find Albus Dumbledore standing there and to our complete surprise an eight year old Harry Potter. My hands flew up to my mouth "Professor!" I said in shock

"Fiona! It's so good to see you dear" he greeted, I nodded a little perplexed 

"What're you doing here sir, if you don't mind me asking" I asked

"Not at all, it is rather urgent you see, Harry has nowhere to go, his aunt and uncle had kicked him out with his belongings after an unfortunate accident involving his cousin" the Headmaster explained

"Those...those" Sirius was trying to find the right word which didn't involve swearing

"We know Sirius" I kissed him on his cheek

"Well anyway, since you are his godparents-"

I froze "Excuse me what?" I asked

"Oh I'm sorry you didn't know did you? Well Lily and James made there will and it included making you and Sirius the legal gardian if anything should happen to Harry" the old wizard explained

"Christ all mighty" I said, I looked at Harry, "Harry?" I asked hesidently, he slowly looked up at me "Would you like live with us?" 

"I don't know, I know you were my parents best friends" my heart swelled when he said this, James and Lily classed me as there best friend 

"Yes, and dispite not knowing I was your legal gardian and godmother, I would like you to be apart of our family, " I explained

"Will you love me?" he asked shyly, I felt tears forming 

"Oh darling of course we will, we'll love you just like we love our children" I said he slowly walked up to me, I knelt down and hugged him back, Sirius walked over and hugged us both, once we had let go Sirius picked Harry up, as the boy was tired

"I'll put him James' bed for tonight" my newly found fiancee said, I smiled and nodded and he took him into the boys bedroom. 

"Ill send his stuff through when I go through and Ill visit again in a week or so just to see how you're getting on" Dumbledore said, I smiled 

"Thank you so much Professor for giving us the chance" I beamed

"My pleasure dear, now you go have a goodnights sleep, after all you've had an hetic day," he told me, I stalled, he had that damn twinkle in his eye again, he knew too much 

"Ok Sir, goodnight" he nodded and dissappeared out of sight, I sighed and stared at my children who were still fast asleep, Sirius came back in and wrapped his arms around my waist, his head on my shoulder 

"Let's go get into bed Mrs Black" he whispered, I smiled Fiona Black How right that sounded, I thought as I let my soon-to-be husband lead me to bed, we both fell asleep with smiles on our faces.
