Chapter 24 - Magic is a wonderful thing

We all sat in a circle joined hands, me linking with Sirius who linked with Ceri, with David, with Jess, with Gareth, with Alice, with Remus who had joined with me. 

"Now first you have to drink this potion" Remus told me handing me a glass with a light blue liquid in, I sighed "It's tasteless" he added, I smiled and drunk it all in one gulp. 

"Ok what next?" I asked, joining hands with the werewolf and my boyfriend again

"Well, you have to close your eyes while I mutter the spell, hopefully you will feel a weird sensation going through you" he explained, I nodded and closed my eyes, then I heard Remus saying words that made no sense to me, it sounded like latin, I felt Sirius squeeze my hand in ressurance, I squeezed back gratefully, I waited a couple of seconds until, like Remus had said, I felt a weird sensation run through me, I breathed hard, and then it stopped. 

"You can open your eyes now babes" I heard Sirius whisper, I did what I was told, to find everyone staring at me, I found Remus' golden orbs, he was smiling 

"Stand up and try it out" he urged, I nodded and stood up looking around I found David, I smirked 'There's no harm in trying' I thought, 

"Levicorpus" I said pointing at the actor, I smiled as David now hung up side down "I've always wanted to do that" I said, everyone laughed except David

"Get me down" he said 

"I'll consider it" I said

"Please" he begged, I bit my lip 

"Fine" I sighed "Lebriacorpus" he dropped to the floor with a loud thump, he jumped up rubbing his head

"You are unbelievable" he snarled, I glared 

"Would you like to repeat that David, as you now know, I've got powers and I'm not afraid to use them on people who really annoy me" I bit back

"What the hell is wrong with you two?" Ceri snapped "You have been biting eachother's head off everytime you see eachother for the past 9 years" 

"Nothing" I said, storming into my bedroom and slamming the door. I jumped on my bed and buried my face in my pillow, and screamed loud, when I had finally calmed down I sat up and leant against the head board, I hugged a pillow to my chest. A couple of minutes later I heard the bedroom door open, I looked up and Sirius walked in, he closed the door, slipped his shoes off and joined me on the bed, I didn't saying anything as I leaned into him, he wrapped his arms around me, his chin on my head 

"Are you going to tell me what happened all those years back?" he asked quietly, I sighed

"You'd probably hate me" I whispered back

"I could never hate you" he replied, I looked up at him seeing the sincerity in his eyes

"The night after I left Cheadle, me and Jess met Gareth, David and John in a bar" I started "Gareth and Jess went off together, leaving me and John, they bought me a drink before John had to go, leaving me with David, he kept buying us drinks, and then asked me around to his place, well he never mentioned he was going out with my best friend, and it led to the bedroom, next morning I found out he had been lieing to me, I was upset and talked to John who was on his break from work, he went back to work and I set off to the flat, David cornered me and tried to explain, but I wasn't hearing any of it, he got angry and closened up to me and that was where you came in" I explained, there was silence, I looked up at him "You hate me now don't you" I whispered tears forming in my eyes, he looked down at me but didn't say anything "You do!" I cried and jumped away from him, I slipped my shoes on and ran out ignoring Sirius' shouts, I ran out the flat, having no idea where I was going, I was a bit taken back when I appeared John's house, I knocked on the door and John answered, seeing me in tears, he quickly led me in and set me on the sofa, wrapping his arms around me, before he had chance to ask me what was up I had fallen to sleep.
