Chapter 19 - Unbelievable surprises

2 years later

I squeezed my eyes shut as the light hit me

"Mum?" a small voice of Keira called from the doorway, I blinked a few time trying to adjust to the light, I saw two blurry figures

"What's wrong?" I asked yawning and closing my eyes again

"You're not going to sleep again are you?" James asked

"Well I would like to think so" I replied turning onto my side 

"But mum! There's a man in the living room and he claims he's Sirius!" James said, It took several seconds for me to register those words, I shot up in bed

"What?!" I asked 

"Dad's here" Keira summed up a hint of excitement in her voice, I put my glasses on and slid out of bed, I had a black silk nightie on with spagetti straps which came above my knees, I walked over to the kids and kneeled down

"Are you sure? What did he look like?" I said

"Why don't you see for you're self?" James asked, I breathed hard and stood up, following them into the living room, I found a very dirty looking Sirius sitting on the sofa, he stood up quick and came towards me, my breath got caught in my throat, trying to take it al in, Sirius was here, in my living room, 5 years earlier than expected

"Sirius?" I whispered

"Fiona" he answered he came towards me I smiled and backed away

"You're not coming near me until you've had a shower and a bloody good one come to that" I said Sirius laughed "You know where the stuff is" I added, he grinned and walked past me into the bathroom closing the door after him. I smiled with a sigh, I turned to the kids "You two go get in bed, No objections" I added as they went to speak "You have one day left till the holidays then you can spend all the time you want with your Dad but for now I need to speak to Sirius alone, you understand don't you?" they nodded "Thank you, you are the best kids I could've asked for you know" I said hugging them both they hugged me back before walking into the bedroom, I gave a jump in excitement then ran into my bedroom, I pulled a pair of boxers and pyjama bottoms out of a drawer full of Sirius' clothes, I took them into the bathroom and closed the door after me, Sirius apparantly hadn't heard me as he was still singing 'I will survive' I laughed silently singing along with him quietly

"I will survive, as long as I know how to love I will survive, I have all my life to live I have all my love to give, I will survive I will survive!" When I heard him turn the shower off I stood up and picked up his towel putting my hand behind the curtain to hand it to him, I felt him jump a mile "Holy Merlin!" he gasped, the curtain opened and Sirius stepped out a towel around his waist I laughed at him

"I'm sorry Sweetie, couldn't resist" I apoligised

"How long have you been standing there?" he asked

"About the part where you sung the chorus of 'I will survive'" Sirius groaned and hid his face in his hands, I walked up to him and took them away, staring at him, my eyes raking his face, I touched his cheek with the back of my hand his eyes boaring into mine "You're a brilliant singer Siri" I whispered leaning my forehead onto his "I've missed you so much" he leaned into kiss me but I stopped his with a finger on his lips "Nope, brush your teeth, then I'll show you how much"

"You are such a tease" he moaned as I handed him a toothbrush 

"Well I've learnt well off you, it wouldn't of happened if you hadn't gone to Azkaban..." I stopped realising what I had just said "Oh, I'm sorry Sirius I didn't mean it really it came out wrong" I spluttered, Sirius silenced me with a kiss, and I didn't mind about the fact he hadn't brushed his teeth for god knows how many years, I kissed him back with passion, we pulled away for oxygen "I'm sorry" I whispered 

"It doesn't matter Fe" he said hugging me, I hugged him back tightly, before letting to, I picked his clothes up from the floor and handed them to him "Thank you" he said, I smiled 

"Seeya in the bedroom" I said winking, he laughed and started to dry himself as I walked into my bedroom.

10 Minutes Later

I sat in the middle of the bed, my legs tucked underneath me, when Sirius walked in I smiled widely, he joined me on the bed and wrapped his arms around me, I snuggled close to him

"When did you get out?" I asked quietly

"A few hours ago" he answered

"Does Remus know you're free?" I asked looking up at him, he stared me in the eyes

"No only Dumbledore, the Ministry and you and the kids" he told me

"Ok first thing tomorrow we need to call him I can't bear for him to be the last to know" I said, Sirius kissed me softly before pulling me down onto the pillows, pulling the covers over us

"I agree" he kissed me again a little harder, the kiss was filled with passion and love and I had a weird feeling all over my body it felt as if there was some sort of energy or magic running through me. I dismissed it and kissed him back returning the passion and love, before pulling away and laying my head on his chest. I felt myself drifting off, and I knew Sirius was too as his breathing became shallower.
