A few years later

"Right are you ready for school?" I asked my 6 year old twins

"Yes Mum" they chorused, I smiled

"Now, please don't try and change your hair colour," I told them, picking my keys and bag up 

"Yes Mum, We know, but you won't tell us why" Keira said, I sighed, 

"Ok, I'll ask Uncle Remus to come round this weekend and then we can both explain alright?" I said, they nodded "Ok, now go get in the car, or we're gonna be late, and Ceri's picking you up today, so behave for her ok, do your homework, have your tea, then you can do what ever you want" I explained

"Yes Mum" they chorused again, they picked up their bags and walked out the door, I followed them, I locked the door and made my way to the car, 


20 minutes later

"Have a good day at school, don't get into trouble, I know what you're like with start of year pranks" I smiled, they grinned and gave me a kiss before getting out the car walking into school "Just like your father" I added softly to myself before driving off to work.
