No, Happy Ending

If loneliness, can be over come, 

Then why is it that, after all these years so many can still feel alone in a crowd of people.

If true love can be found, 

Then how is it that so many young and old are still searching. 

If a true friend is just around the corner, 

 Then why is it, every corner I turn someone new has broken my trust. 

How is it, we are given hope for the best, 

But all we end up with is the worst. 

Instead of, over coming loneliness, finding love, or a true friends.

We just learn there is not happy ending. 

Once one problem ends another begins, 

Then you give up on all those things, 

We tried to over come loneliness, 

We tried to find love that stayed, 

And a true friend that never broke our trust, 

 Just to realize, 

We aren't going to escape life alive anyways.
