Bus Ride to NYC

Bus Ride to NYC

A Poem by Sabrina Claridge

I see the sky in the
clearest and purist of
blue, white.
The trees twine together
in an endless array of
blurred green. The
man-made charcoal
muses in the with green
grass that brushes
into the pine and
the oak and the
steel rails.
We spin eagerly on a
locked metal traps wheels.
We all have somewhere
to go, at the same place,
at the same time - yet,
we will never see each other.
And that's why the world
is good and vast. Because
people, unknowingly close to
each other, will never be
able to share the same life
experiences. We live in a
world where nature is in sync
and people move on by without
a second glance to recognize
the absolute beauty of
each others nature.

Was on the megabus to go to NYC for the first time. Went to go see Darren Criss star on Broadway. This was inspired by four hours of boredom and staring out the window.

This is a great way to put it. Great imagery. You really show how nature is in sync with your descriptions of it.
