Diamond StarsA Poem by Ĺυ¢куĎυ¢куNot my best work :PA field of grass is under my feet, and a black whole of darkness above my head. Step by step, I am running. Away from my fears, Away from those tears. Rocks and sticks scar my feet with blood, The cold wind makes my skin turn purple and blue. Hours after hours, I run. Where? I will never know. Letting the air guide me, Letting it tear me apart. I fall onto the ground, On my sore back. I realize my eyes were closed tight, so i open them for the first time in so long. The first thing I see is the sky. It looks like God spilled a bucket of diamonds onto the sky. I realize me running away from my fears is pointless. What will this do? Will it save me? Will it leave my fears behind? I finally see, That it really, truly is pointless. So i get up, and start to walk back from where i came from with a smile on my face. © 2011 Ĺυ¢куĎυ¢куReviews
