The Red River

The River in my head flows red as my heart climbs to fall in the vast pool of love to try to find the one that im thinking of...

To my hearts dismay I come to find no one to stay by my side

 none of us are two of a kind...

My journey takes me far and wide but it  still feels like a great divide...

So as my search is near it's end my heart may now rest and depend on the one who was at the highest peak and found my red river to drink

as i had found him all alone the darkness in his eyes began to glow

for he knew his loneliness was at an end and he began to reach out a hand

to take mine and so we can escape the emptiness in everyone elses fates

As my chapter begins to close I want to never leave his hold

Eventhough the road may become very cold

Who am I to kid i know ill be left alone in the end
