The Demons Inside

The Demons Inside

A Poem by Dreaded Reset

I'm trying to run
I'm trying to hide
But they're behind me
cold powering pride
no matter where i go
no matter what the scam
they'll always find me
they know where i am
even when i beg
even when i try
they never accept
my dying cry
they shelter inside me
filling with strife
I've tried fighting back
but they're full of life
I hide from people
i hide and run
for if people get close
i become the deadly son
they call me his child
they call me his daughter
but they've got it all wrong
it's Satan that i'll slaughter
if it means i lose
if it means i die
my friends will be there
responding to my cry.

About
when people smile, i smile back. when people laugh, i laugh too. when people giggle, i giggle too. but when people cry, i cheer them up. more..
