YouA Poem by The One UnknownTo all of those who are oppressed by that one person, or group of people, this poem is for you. This poem helps encourage the oppressed and belittles the oppressor.
You.
You have hurt me. Yes I am talking about You. You made me cry at night, Made me depressed And all for what? To make Yourself feel better? To make Yourself look better? A waste! Is it because I am different from You and Them? That I am weird because I do not act like You, Talk like You, Dress like You? A waste! You do this to me, but You do not have a real reason to do it. A WASTE! And yet, I have to thank You. For, if it wasn't for You, I would not be who I am now today. I would not be more successful than you, further than you are now. I would have been like You if You did not do what You did to me. Now I can hold my head high and look at You as if You are an ant, About to be squashed by my foot called Success. I just want to tell You thank You. Because what You do is feed me with a power, A power that You never can and never will acquire. A power that will help me rise and You fall. A power that, in the end will be the destruction of Your own making. A power that You never intended to give me. The Power of overcoming. With this power, I will be able to step over You, Conquer over You, Turn You into my foot stool And leave there to think about monster that You made for Yourself, and to never forget what You did to me.
