Another Wish

About my ex-boyfriend.

He would say,

“It’s not your fault.

You didn’t know.

Promises are meant to be broken.”

The day

I wasn’t fine at all

Then it all changed in a moment

The tears

I guess they meant

I understood myself

But it was too late, you were gone

I spent

I remember too well

That was right, this is wrong

He would say,

“You have to let go.

I can’t do this.

I wouldn’t be able to leave you.”
