I am a fool

I believe the lies of those who are so clearly evil

I give the “misunderstood” the benefit of the doubt

I always come with open arms

I give energy to people who I so clearly shouldn’t

I waste my breathe on those who don’t deserve it

I sit and listen to sob stories, just to give them an excuse

I have kind words for unlovable people

I give a 2nd chance, and a 3rd, and even a 4th

I have soft eyes for those hard to look at

I give up my own mental journey in order to drown in helping others

I am so easily manipulated 

I am a fool
