What did you mean
When you said you'd never leave?
I guess never equals today

Why did you hold me
And kiss me so tenderly
Just an hour before I begged you to stay?

What did you mean
When you told me that you loved me?
I guess love is betrayal's best friend

Why did you promise me all these things
If they were only to be broken
Left to die in the end?

I am no longer living
No long breathing for you

I am no longer the same
You changed me when you stole from me
Everything I hold dear

What did you mean
When you said you'd never leave?
I guess never equals today...
