Feeling like you've known someone and you were destined to meet.. but was it just a dream?

Do I know you…

In the mists of nothingness

Within the shadows of the serendipitous?

Have I met you before…

Among the silence of reckoning

Midst the noise of the trees?

 

Have we been here before…

In this place that is not really a place

In this time that has not yet come?

 

Have we spoken before…

Behind the bridges of intent

Within the blue waters of dreamers?

 

Did I love you once upon a time…

When forever had an ending

And when the ending was forever?

 

I do believe I know you…

Among the songs of the siren

And the whispers of planets far away

 

I do believe we have been here before..

Somewhere past the corner of mistakes

Where the pastels paint visions of wishes

 

I do believe we have spoken before

Beneath the cascades of waterfalls

That leave us wet with inklings of hazy fears

 

I do believe that I have loved you once

Once upon a time

With fervency and lust

 

But I don’t believe we have been here before…

Not in the waking or within our dreams

I will only believe it when you allow me to see.

Nice... surprised I haven't stumbled upon this one before.

It can be an interesting situation when you come in contact with someone who brings the feeling of nostalgia. And yes... seeing is believing.

I can always tell when the 'average extraordinary' piece exceeds by the sting of nerves in my skin, the lump in my throat or the search for words when left speechless...[for me] this has done all three. An eerily familiar feel of déjà vu "In this place that is not really a place, In this time that has not yet come?"
I'm sure to read this one several times...into my favorites this goes!
