Chapter 2A Chapter by EivahBella stood up, wandering who on Earth would be going round at 8PM. Of course, there was always the possibility of it being Mia, except she had her own house keys and was not very forgetful. Bella Victoria Clement curiously peeped out of the window. Seeing her sister, thankfully, she opened the oak door. Twisting the brass nob she opened the door, but instead of seeing Mia, in a normal, calm and collected manner, she was in a hyperventilating state, her eyes darting nervously around. "It's everywhere," Bella heard her whisper, "We have to go, pack a bag, with a minimal amount of stuff and lets get out of here!" Bella looked at her sister fearfully, "What's going on!" Mia glanced at the door Bella had forgotten to close. She placed her hand gently on her sisters hand, Bella could feel her trembling, Mia quickly pushed the door shut. Bella knew that something was wrong. Mia never acted like this, and she wouldn't pull a prank like this. "The Venator, it's here!" Mia whispered, "Go pack! We're leaving!" When Bella was not moving, but instead staring in shock at Mia, she clapped her hands and loudly, urgently instructed, "NOW!" This seemed to work as Bella rushed to her room. Bella was now in a haze. She tended to do this when she was anxious. The world was still clear but her mind was distant. She roughly grabbed her light-blue travelling case and began to shove the remains of her clothes into it. Reaching for her Harry Potter bracelet, she knocked over a pottery creation, the only thing she had from her parents. Swallowing back tears she picked up the remains. Retrieving the snitch bracelet, she stuffed some trainers on her feet. Once she rushed into the hall, panting, out of breath, her sister grabbed her arm, as if she was a naughty child, and pulled her out of the house. On the outside of the Clements house, there was a wide forest, that stopped at the face of a cliff. This was the place the Aill rested. Mia rushed Bella along the edge of the forest before deciding on a path. Bella was pulled by Mia into the depths of the forest, she noticed that Mia hadn't packed anything. "Mia," Bella began, "Why didn't you-" "Shhhh!" Mia half-whispered half-shouted, "We've got to get out of here!" "But Mia-" Bella started again, only once more to be cut off by her sister. "I said to keep quiet!" Mia started raising her voice, but then remembering her own instruction she lowered it to gentle whisper, "we don't know how this works, what if they can hear us?" Bella glanced nervously at the trees around them. Nothing moved. They had come to a stop, staying still, as if the small movement of a rising chest would give away that they were here, of course, it would, and it did. Mia started to tremble. "The Venator." she whispered, her voice barely audible over the rustle of leaves in the wind, "It's found us! Run Bella." Seeing nothing, Bella's eyes darted from place to place, her mind a blur. A strange, black shadow flashed left to right. Leaves rustled. The birds in the trees took their leave; fleeing the incoming carnage. The creature flashed across Bella's periphery's, inhumanly fast. Bella caught a glimpse of it; it was more than enough. Throbbing black tattoos covered its face. The creature wore a dark cloak, with two long curved sword handles protruding from the inside of the cloak. Two small fires danced angrily in place of eyes. They burned bright; piercing Bella's eyes as she stood, unable to move. The Venator clutched at a dark wooden bow. It stared at Mia. Her eyes widened, as it drew an arrow. The girls couldn't move for fear. The Venator let the arrow fly. It met it's mark. Bella watched as her sister crumbled to the leafy floor. The Venator drew the two large, curved blades from it's cloak, moving closer to Mia, it's flaming eyes growing menacingly. It uttered a single, screeching cry, piercing the forest air. Bella took a step back, stumbling over her sisters bloodied body. She hit the ground, hard, her blue case flying. She felt the warm trickle of blood on one side of her face. She sat up, the forest was ablaze; the air filled with excruciating screams. Bella looked left and right; each tree filled with flaming eyes.
