"Regret"

"Regret"

A Poem by forsaken_beauty

"Regret" by debra koga

Felling so ashamed,
Always shut out.

Never full hope,
But always with doubt.

The fire inside me
Is starting to die down.

Because the passion that ignites me
Is no longer around.

My heart used to
Be wild and free.

But surely it's slowing
Because I'm no longer me.

Love is a feeling
That's great when it starts.

And then when it ends
You begin to fall apart.

This word means nothing
But great pain and grief.

When your heart gets broken
I feel there's no relief.

Anger and stress
They're already here.

The only ones missing
Are sorrow and fear.

All the emotions, there's
No need to express.

The only one showing
seems to be regret.

Interesting enough,
This can not be true.

There's no reason that I
should ever regret you.
