All the lies I wound around my self

To try and protect me from your scorn.
Your misguided notion
Of what I should have done.

I wished I hadnt cared
I wish that all those nights you lectured me
I walked away.

Those whispered criticisms
You felt you had to share.
Those nagging comments you felt were obsolete.
