Nobody Cares

Sometimes I feel like nobody cares about me in life, so I wrote a poem about how I feel.

I stand there crying with my sister

with everybody around us

doing thier own buisness

and don't pay any attention to us

 

I feel like we're invisable

there are things in my head

that I can't say outloud or I

 will be punished

 

Those small words people

can say to me to make me feel

like I am someone

yet no one says them

 

Sometimes  I wish I'm not in

this family and I wish we could

be in family that actually cares

 

I get hurt in words and people

just laugh and gossop

I try to defend myself, they

dont care, But who would care?

 

I defend my sister from getting

in trouble and she does the same

to me

We get punished for trying to defend

each other

 

I think of the good things in life,

like my friends and music

 

But thats about the only things that

cheer me up

 

Nobody cares

A very strong and sad poem. It is good when sister are close. Better to have two people fighting the world. Can make both people stronger. Life can make you feel alone and no-one cares. Sometime you must care for yourself and not allow the small things slow you down. A excellent poem.

too some degree it seems like nobody cares...I'd state it more like nobody understands, and thus they pass judgement. It's frustrating and I can't give answers, it seems to be how humans are. I connected with your words, keep it up
