This is a poem I wrote about my favorite artist of all time, the one and only, Stevie Nicks as well as her experience in amazing Fleetwood Mac.

The Legacy of the Gypsy Woman

Rumors fly over my head

The chain has never broken

Velvet and chiffon pass by

Dust twirls around in a daze

Acoustics ripple

Keys sway waves through air

Cymbals crash together

Reaching the top

       

                                           They all became one

Simple but very effectively creating images. Your choice of words is kind of sober but matches the topic perfectly, it reads smooth and takes the reader back in time. Really good one.
