I didn't know I was wrong until you tore my heart from my chest.

I didn't know who I was until you left.

Now I’m fighting the demons I have inside

Now I’m fighting the monsters in my mind

I didn't know the power of my smile until you walked away.

Now I’m walking with my smile that never says bye.

Now I’m walking with my head held high.

I didn't know I was brave, then you set my love in a grave

I didn't know I was strong, then I was forced to go on.

Now I’m letting go of the love that went fast.

Now I’m letting go of our past.

I’m not the same person I used to be.

I appreciate my beauty now that you set me free.
