It might be short, but it hits the right nerves that make the reader cringe at the end. Good job on it. The briefness kind of makes it as quick as the means of death. If it had been long, it would have been uncharacteristic for the theme.

I think it's good that it's brief. It's very concise and gets the message across bluntly, and the voice of the character seems to be rather blunt, so it ties itself together very nicely in that manner.
