Blinding.A Poem by Suffer In Silencethis was off thee top of my head this morning when i woke up.
I had a hard night. I walk into my apartment. Ready to passout any minute. I fall onto my bed, full clothed. And passout.
Sunshine blinds me as it peeks through my blinds. I put my hand in front of my face. Wait, that isn't sunshine. What is it ? I sit up straight and stare straight into the eyes of a elderly man. He is dressed in white cloth and has no shoes on. His white beard is glistening in the sunshine. He grabs my hand and helps me to stand up. My feet touch something fluffy and powdery. I look down and see white. I ask the old man, "What is going on ?" He replies "You are in heaven, my love"
I died last night.
I guess it was the thought. The thought of you, not being there any longer.
