How do you know when you love someone ?

at this age ?

 

You wait for me to say it back to you,

but I just can't.

 

I'm not a liar.

 

You don't ask why I won't say it back.

But I can see it in your eyes that your

hurt.

I apoligize.

You shake your head and get up.

I put my head in my hands.

 

I start to cry.

 

You hold me in your arms as I cry.

 

I look up and stare at your face.

Breath in and out.

 

I          L     O     V     E          Y     O     U        !

 

One lie won't hurt ,

will it ?

This is a very good poem. It has a lot of meaning and emotion in it.
Sometimes we think we love someone, and it can be a lie, just like you wrote. I love the way this flows and how a lot of people can relate to it. An all around great poem.
