SELF-CENTRED

SELF-CENTRED

A Poem by fuad

I’ve bought myself a knife today,

I dreamt of cutting my veins,

Dreams can’t be thrown away,

Despite all the living pains.

I have eaten a cupcake which took two hours bake,

It tasted like pure salt,

Tears are good for a cupcake to make,

It’s not totally our fault.

I saw a beautiful girl crying.

She wore a green nose-pin,

She seems to have a heart which was frying

Love and life, aren’t they rude and mean?

I made a promise which I know I can’t keep,

Still I agreed to lie

It’s not bad to see people happy in the deep.

Innocent and sinners are two dead end of an untied tie.

I wrote a song for me,

It was a gift for my guilt,

It was a song about honey and the bee,

How people destroy their home, with great love which they built.
