HEARTBREAK

HEARTBREAK

A Poem by oluwabukola omotoso

Can I ever love again?
For my bones are weak and dry,
My heart pumps blood no more.
My love was shattered, and all I could form again was hatred.
Tears, overflowing,
Leaving me, half dead and alive
Because of you,my heart aches with no reliever.

What did I do wrong?
For I have been forced to dance to the tune of heartbreak.
Your away, without looking back.
My love was intertwined with yours,
Hoping to have a lasting one.
Continuously, my heart bleeds for you.
Patiently, I wait for the right one.
