City Streets

City Streets

A Poem by Nazca
"

Just a thought as I headed into work :-)

"

Off the bus

off the train

In sunny days

through the rain

Day by day

I watch them go

their lives their own

some fast

some slow

The old woman

with her cane

Her eyes still young

though body wane

The youth running

from here to fro

Their cares move as

the winds blow

I walk these city streets

And see them all

who knows who will meet

I hear its call

I walk these city streets

and day by day

The miracle of life

here to stay

in the cacaphony

of horns and sounds

there is a rythm

that shakes the ground

I walk these city streets

its music unique

changing every second

listening

for the peak
