Chasm

Chasm

A Poem by Nazca
"

I was thinking about imperfections, cracks and looking beyond that into what really matters in life. Not just in people but in everything. A work in progess I think :-)

"

Cracks in the ceiling

Cracks on the wall

On the side walk a crack

Break your mother's back

Effort sends us reeling

Trying not to fall

Scream across dark valleys

Echoing a call

Returning the sound

through dimly lit alleys

To where my soul is found

But not all cracks

are imperfections

Not all chasms

filled with phantasms

Its our own perceptions

That will make them black

There is artwork in the lines

In earth as well as man

Scenic valleys

Breathtaking canyons

Through the vines

We see into God's plan

into his canvass

A varied palette

It depends on how we see

We look past the chasms

Ans set beauty free

Screw the typos, this is Big Medicine.
Particularly I like the third part.
