Fertile ground

Fertile ground

A Poem by Nazca
"

You can interpret as you like :-) Its still rough but I wanted to commit it to "paper" before I lost it :-)

"

Since you've gone

We've gone around

from sacred ground

to barren earth

what is it worth?

Thought we were strong

The days move on

to months and years

Since you have gone

We're drained our tears

We are still here

We are still here

We wept for you

in different ways

Some travelled far

within their hearts

Some become strays

Some struggle through

Day by day

Through different parts

of their emotions

Like vast oceans

You were the link

for all our souls

loss like a shot

to knees we sink

Now a dark spot

The days move on

To months and years

Where  do we belong?

Who'll soothe our fears?

And through the changes of our lives

Loves gained and lost

I suddenly see

almost too late

You are still here

You are still here

And in that link

Where you once stood

That held us all

Not a dark spot

But fertile ground

Misunderstood

So hard to see

through the loss

and all the pain

We plant seeds of love

You meant to be

guiding us

from beyond

Back from the brink

You've always been

you've always been

Thanks Tony. Speaking of Skies, did you see the poem "Speakign to the Sky" that I wrote?

I wonder if this is why we look to the sky.
Waiting for God to come and change us back into regular animals, without all this power of reason, and math and crap.
I mean, look at where our 'progress' has progressed us too.

Yet a pure thought like this poem, brings joy as sure as the track follows the animal.

always been
in your heart
even though physically not present...
they live on...
even though they are gone
goes to show that just because people are out of sight; they are not out of mind or heart...

I would see it as a poem for someone you have lost yet chose to keep him or her in your hearts always..in fact it such natural a process you don't have to chose it is meant to be so.

Seems like a poem of god. and how when we think he is gone, we can't see what is truly in front of us. If that is not what you intended, then it works well for this as well.
