These wall

These wall

A Poem by Molly Mae

Because we lived our lives between these walls

We did not hear outside the doors

Each room swallowed us one by one

An infinitive black line

Defining where and when

We did not see what could be

Unless we let go and stepped out of these walls

And so, we rose

This house

Made us see
