Have you ever been grateful to a clock?

Ode to Grandfather Clock

Grand father clock,

what secrets do you hold?

You have been from place to place.

Room to room.

You have counted wars,

and hidden treasures.

You,

like the box that no one can open.

Grandfather clock,

what secrets do you hold?

I know you where just a bystander in a corner of the room,

but without you we don't even know when to eat lunch.

Grandfather clock you are not just a couple of numbers!

Without you some humans are worthless never accomplishing anything in life.

I know that we are not grateful,

and that you should be worshiped!

Instead of broken, beaten, droped, and drowened!

I know many of your children don't deserve this.

That they are just slaves to my people!

I am sorry Grandfather clock!

What secrets do you hold?
