Transporter

Transporter

A Poem by R.R.Louderback
"

Some musings on the consequence of transporters existing.

"
SciFaiku is simply Haiku with any, all, or none of the usual rules with the inclusion of one simple constraint: the topic must be related to science fiction. My efforts will attempt to adhere to the The SciFaiku Manifesto.

Transporter

Long 3-5-3 syllables

transporter
column of bright stars
construct me

Short 2-3-2 syllables

beam out
rebuild me
beam in

Traditional 5-7-5 syllables (same as in Japanese)

the transport beam sings
molecules leap the great void
they reassemble

English 7-9-7 syllables

frigid I disintegrate
not me, i journey my components
flash heat i am me again

Freeform 17 syllables (three phrases, short, longer, short)

bloody disintegrating transporter
it always scared me spitless every time
am I still myself afterwards?
