Sleeping

Sleeping

A Poem by R.R.Louderback
"

The "Chaise de coma" is a great chair-and-a-half with an affixed foot-rest so named because I have yet to meet someone who can lie in it without falling asleep.

"

I lay down tonight when I chose,
Tired from my head to my toes,
      On my chaise de coma,
Where I could not turn over,
I lay on my back and I snoze.
