MasqueradeBall

MasqueradeBall

A Poem by R.R.Louderback
"

Just a little limerick for Halloween

"

I went to the masquerade ball
The one that is held here each fall.
       The wolf-man was not scary;
       He was merely hairy
And Frankenstein was not there at all.

I went to that masquerade ball
and drank myself into a crawl.
The ghosts there were real;
you could tell by the feel,
and the hoop and yell and the call.

Haha this is perfect! :D It's totally how I feel when I go to Halloween dances and I'm rather disappointed with the costumes. ;]

Perfect for Halloween. Its fun and I really enjoyed it. I liked the lines:
"The wolf-man was not scary;
He was merely hairy"
That made me laugh. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
