Returning to the Forest

Yesterday I reached the forest,
And was welcomed by the trees;
Branches bowed,...

Leafs caressed my face -
In union with the breeze.
The recent storm…Yes
It had took its toll;
The old had been knocked down,
While some just leaned precariously,
Against those,that had stood their ground.
I frightened two young ravens,
That screeched high overhead;
Before realising I was not a ghost,
But returning from the dead �"
Surviving from the long last search -
Löst dreams on distance shores,
In fact, this journey had made me stronger �"
Then all those,I faced had in war.

Trying too...against the wind.
Sounds like survival of mother nature at her best. Good imagery and well written.
